Education Loan — common questions

Read next: Check Your Credit Score Before You Apply for a Loan

When does repayment start?

Usually after the course ends, following a moratorium period set by the lender. Interest may build up during the course, and some lenders let you pay it as you go to reduce the final amount.

Is the co-applicant's income important?

Yes. Because the student is not yet earning, lenders assess the co-applicant's income and credit history closely.
