Credit Bankers helps you find and apply for a loan. To do that we need some of your
personal information. This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the
rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we are
Credit Bankers is a loan advisory and processing firm. We are not a lender. Our registered office

What we collect
- When you ask for a call back: your name, mobile number, the loan you need, and,
if you choose to give them, the amount and your city.
- When you go ahead with a loan: the documents and details the lender needs for that
loan. Depending on the loan these can include PAN, Aadhaar, photograph, income proof (salary
slips, ITR, Form 16), bank statements, business documents (GST, Udyam), property papers and
details of existing loans.
- When you use the calculators: nothing. The EMI and eligibility calculators work in
your browser; the numbers you enter are not saved or sent to us.
Why we use it
- To call you back about your enquiry.
- To understand your needs and work out which banks and NBFCs are likely to suit you.
- To prepare your application and submit it to the lender or lenders you agree to.
- To follow up with the lender and keep you updated until your loan is decided.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
We use your information only for these purposes, and only with your consent, which you give
when you submit the enquiry form or share your documents with us.
Who we share it with
- Banks and NBFCs — only the lenders you agree we may apply to, and only what they
need to assess your application. Each lender then handles your information under its own
privacy policy, and will usually run a credit check.
- Service providers who run our systems — the companies that host our website and our
secure database. They store the information for us and may not use it for anything else.
- Authorities — where the law requires us to.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we keep it safe
Enquiries and documents are stored in a secure database hosted in India (Mumbai). Access is
limited to our team members who work on your loan, each with their own login; an agent can see
only the customers assigned to them. Documents are kept in private storage and opened only through
short-lived secure links.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to work on your loan and to meet our legal
obligations, and then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner — see below.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we have used it;
- correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, where we are not required by law to keep it;
- stop using your information, by withdrawing your consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect
anything done before you withdrew it, but we may then be unable to continue with your loan;
- name another person to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.
Questions and complaints
We will respond within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our response,
you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It remembers only your light or
dark theme choice, on your own device.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
